Installation of bearings

Our experience says that the situations, when the bearing shall be removed just after installation, are too frequent.

1. Is the alignment of the shaft and bore correct?
2. Is the fitting correct?
3. Is the bearing of either fixing or floating type?
4. Are lubrication way and parameters proper for the bearing?
5. Should the bearing with higher resistance to vibration be used?
6. Is the resistance to electric punch though maintained?
7. Should the bearing be heated before installation, and how to do that?
8. Should the bearing slackness be checked after installation, and how to do that?
9. Should the bearing with non-standard slackness be used?
10. Is it possible to check installation quality after start-up?
11. Should the bearing resistant to extreme temperatures be used?
12. May the CARB bearing be used?
13. Is it possible to evaluate, when the bearing should be replaced?
14. May the used bearing be regenerated?
